My Project
I have many ELL students and families in my classroom, including a refugee from Afghanistan. By having a translator device I would be able to give my students learning instructions in their native language, this will make it faster and easier for them to grasp the content.
The translator will also immensely help with parent-teacher conferences.
I want to help all of my families succeed by effectively communicating with them! My students would also benefit from the sound wall cards. These cards show how to make each letter sound with your mouth which will help my students better to identify letter sounds in their schoolwork.
