Help me give my students the ability to 3D PRINT materials that will allow us to produce PPE supportive products by funding the necessary filament materials for the 3D printer. (We will create mask holders and face shields.)

My Students
Our middle school is an urban school in Stamford, CT. Our students are very diverse and have a +50% free and reduced-price lunch rate. The Stamford Public Schools have students that speak over 50 different languages and a significant ELL population.
The hard working 6th graders of our middle school will be given the opportunity to make required PPE more comfortable for students and staff be 3-D printing Mask Holders and Face Shield parts.
This project would be exciting for the students and help them feel as though they are contributing to creating a safe and productive school environent during the Covid-19 pandemic..
Please help us communicate to these deserving students that they matter!
My Project
We will be on a hybrid model of schooling in the next few weeks. Kids and staff will be wearing masks and face shields. The 3D filament materials will allow me to work with 6th graders to products mask holder which will relieve pressure off of a mask wearer's ears and face shield components so that we can contribute to the comfort and efficacy of PPE use at our school.
Empowering MS kids to contribute to the safe and comfortable use of PPE will empower them to make a difference and keep everyone safe at this trying time.
