My Project

With a new school year starting, we are granted the opportunity for new beginnings. This is a chance for students to create an optimistic outlook and a growth mindset about the school year to come.

With this project, I will use the items provided to encourage a positive and creative tone for the school year.

The picture books requested will be used to teach language arts topics and inspire writing prompts. The snacks will be used as brain food to help the students stay focused. Based on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, we know that you cannot focus on learning when your stomach is rumbling! Lastly, as a class we will use the perler beads to rouse creativity and allow the students to express themselves through an artistic medium.

I am excited to use these items daily, starting from the beginning of the school year, to help motivate my students to be excited to come to school every day and play a part in our classroom community!
