This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am writing to you today because I need your help. Education is a tough field where there is little access to extra resources and funding. Consequently, many teachers end up spending a fortune on their classrooms by themselves. That's where you come in.

This project is all about making sure that my students feel appreciated and at home in my classroom.

First, I have bulletin paper and trim, along with other classroom decorations in order to give my room a new feel. In turn, it makes the students proud of their space and much happier to be in it. Second, I have included items such as stickers, fidgets, stress balls, and calming strips as rewards for my students when they complete work. All of these items will be part of my "reward store". Third, I have included items such as headphones, hall passes, and the pocket chart so that students can have access to some quality materials that we use every day and have a way to organize them.
