This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

COVID-19 impacted student's ability to practice their social skills in person and learn skills through observing others. Through games and books, we can work with students to develop age-appropriate emotional and behavioral skills that will help them not only get along with others, but access their learning more in the general education classroom!

Sharing these books with students will allow to access the information in a fun way and also work on their auditory comprehension skills.

Social skill games are a fun way for students to not only learn but also to practice important skills like turn-taking, sportsmanship, and being a gracious winner.
