This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
When children are equipped with school materials it has a greater impact in not only their self esteem but also their learning experience. By having these materials it will allow students to be active participants in the educational process. My students deserve the opportunity to express themselves and not have the burden of not having the materials. I want all of my students to have the same opportunities as their peers and allow them to develop their talents. Having these resources would mean a lot to me and my students, especially being a first year teacher and navigating my way through this school year.
