Help me give my students an organized choir room with supplies that will inspire them to create beautiful music in their brand-new vocal music program.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a new teacher in the public school classroom, I hope to create an environment that is welcoming, organized, and well-stocked with items to help my students thrive. With our new choral books, we will embark on a new journey with our new program. We will learn to sight sing with the new sight singing curriculum that you provide. My vocal music/choir class will be able to look forward to coming into our classroom with a warm and inviting rug that helps them feel like they can be relaxed and safe.
Organization will be a priority for me and my students.
Students thrive on routine and structure. With the cart, I will be able to label each bin with assignments, music, and classroom games. I plan on creating several games that can be reused over and over by laminating the card stock.
