This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"The more that you read, the more that you will know. The more you learn, the more places you'll go." -Dr. Seuss. This quote relates to my project because I want my students to read for pleasure to gain more knowledge about our world, in comfort.
My students are troopers, Ms. Cooper's Troopers to be more exact.
They face many challenges that many of us will never experience in our lifetimes though you wouldn't be able to tell by their attitudes. They persevere and are still able to achieve excellence. My school is building on a foundation for great things in our students' futures. They are our future!
My Project
My students will use the beanbags and rugs to read comfortably in our library center. My students will be able to sit, lay, and enjoy reading using the beanbags and rugs. I know these luxuries will have a positive impact on their wanting to read more. My hope is that this impact will occur in and out of my classroom.
Donations to this project will improve my classroom by giving my students a comfortable area to read.
These luxuries will change my students' lives for the better because many of them do not have such luxuries at home. Thank you in advance!
