This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching in a low-income community with at-risk youth requires teachers like myself to adjust and manage my classroom with confidence that my students will not go without the necessary resources to be able to achieve their goals. These materials provide my classroom and my students with the supplies we use everyday. Ensuring we are well stocked on our essentials allows our students to feel they are able to express themselves and even make mistakes! In my classroom another shot in the form of an extra paper or binder is always given.
