My Project
My classroom currently does not have a full set of functional calculators, which are a math class essential.
My students are capable of grade level content, and calculators allow us to keep moving forward in their learning without spending time doing paper calculations of elementary school skills.
Calculators also allow us to learn and explore math in new ways, especially when we learn exponents, scientific notation, and exploring datasets.
Further, we lack a few basic materials that allow us to be clean and stay focused on the work. We will always be in need of pencils, dry erase markers, and wipes to do that.
