Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a first-year teacher, one of my main goals this year is to provide my 3rd-grade students with an accessible, fun, and inviting classroom library that encourages their love for reading.
These book collections will ignite students' curiosities, imagination and benefit their overall reading and writing abilities.
Students may be able to see themselves reflected in these stories or learn about new interesting topics.
I would love to provide this opportunity and experience for all students by the start of the new school year, as it will become a vital asset to our classroom.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
