My Students

I have had my 8th students for 2 years now. I have developed strong relationships with my kids due to the Covid-19 pandemic. I personally feel because of these last few school years their mental health has been affected greatly. I feel strongly about maintaining an environment where they feel safe and can learn in a place that is comfortable, and has the supplies to develop those habits so they don’t lose them down the road. My students mean the world

My Project

These resources will promote safe, yet effective learning in an environment of students whose middle school years have all been spent in a adapting to the ever-changing regulations to keep them safe. These years are already hard enough as it is with figuring out who they are and as a teacher I can trying to help them navigate both of these difficult changes.

In addition to this, these supplies we are asking for will help integrate CCSS.ELA.Literacy.RH.6.8.7 and CCSS.ELA.Literacy.WHST.6.8.10 into the curriculum to promote and improve on students ability to gather information, and utilize it effectively.
