Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Five C.A.R.E.S. (Cooperation, Assertiveness, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control)

Help me give my students activities, stress release, sensory discs and more for an educational process to help them build character, relationships and manage emotions with the goal to set and achieve positive outcome and maintain an academic performance.

I am requesting craft activities, stress release items, sensory discs and more. Along with the materials and activities for social emotional, students will be able to connect and build relationships and trust with each other as well as it will help them build confidence, and academic motivation.

This Five C.A.R.E.S.- small-group time for grades 3-5 is kept solely for social-emotional learning and development as students need to be able to rely upon a safe space to process their feelings and emotions. When creating and introducing these small groups, and utilizing the activities and materials students will use them to have the opportunity in sharing and building trust and confidence with one another.

Aside from working and improving their self esteem, they will be able to advance academically with their reading readiness skills, follow multi step directions and complete tasks collaboratively.
