My Project

I begin every year welcoming my students into our classroom family. We spend our first week together learning what it means to become a FAMILY. Unfortunately, several of my students come from homes that don't resemble what we dream of when we think of home. My desire is for our classroom "home" to be a calm, friendly, and welcoming place. With the new rug, students will have a comfortable place to utilize as a flexible seating option. Our reading center will feel extra cozy when we place the wonderful futon in the middle of our classroom library. Please join me in creating this home away from home where my students feel loved, safe, and HOME.
