This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are an awesome bunch of voracious readers and writers with a passion to publish their own pieces. They also want to learn even more from the web about all subjects, specially math.
They enjoy reading, math, writing and want to meet all the state standards.
They are eager to do even better every tasks offered to them. They care for each other and are always willing to bring their diversity to our school and celebrate each others accomplishments.
My Project
I have a phenomenal class of 3rd graders in a dual language classroom. We work hard and want the opportunity to use technology to learn even more and publish digital stories as well as regular books. A typical day involves learning in 2 languages in all content areas.
My students work in centers to practice skills with web based programs that differentiate the learning of each student.
We do not have access to enough technology to do this as often as we would like. Funding these laptops will help us achieve even more. Every child should have access to technology.
