My Project

I’m a Kindergarten teacher at a charter school and this is my second year teaching. I am asking for book donations for my classroom library that will reflect my students diverse backgrounds. Currently I have about 30 books in my classroom library and would love to have it grow to meet my students needs. I have 13 students in my classroom and they come from low income backgrounds where they aren’t able to afford a variety of books. I want to provide them with books to read that represent their interests and diversity.
