My Students
I am the movement teacher in a new Pre-K Center in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. For many of my students, this is their first time in a school setting and I want to foster an environment of curiosity, creativity, movement, and fun!
Through the use of multiple stations incorporating different materials, my goal is for these little ones to develop a love for learning through collaboration and creative movement that will follow them for years to come!

My Project
I'd love to start off the year by providing my pre-k students with a foundation in yoga through creative movement, meditation, breathing practices, and their very own yoga mats! This purchase will help my students transition into the school setting (many for the first time) with skills they can use to self-regulate, maintain personal space, develop gross motor skills, and find fun and happiness through movement. It is my goal to help my little ones find a love for movement and exercise that they will bring with them throughout their lives and yoga is a really great place to start!
