Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Since COVID students have been impacted by less class time and more screen time which leads to lower attention span. The shelves and supplies will allow students easier access to necessary materials that will reduce transition time to allow for more instruction time. Floor desks will allow students to sit on the floor to spread away from distractions. Student rewards,
Jolly Ranchers and Everlasting pencils, help encourage students to work hard.
Other items on my list will help me create a warm and inviting atmosphere so my students feel comfortable and enjoy coming to class.
