My Students
Within my classroom, I enjoy bringing learning to life by making activities fun and engaging. Centers are a phenomenal way to do so. By attaining such centers, I feel my students will be more eager and attentive to learning.
Within my classroom, we have approximately 30 students.
95% of my students are below the poverty level. I love to see the excitement on their faces when they are able to have center time because this allows learning to be both interactive and fun. Many of my students do not own books or educational games to have such experiences outside of the classroom.
My Project
I envision my students using these materials to supplement their learning. These materials will allow my students to learn in a more interactive and fun manner. My students will be able to achieve the activities aligned with the common core in both reading and math . I am requesting both literacy and math centers and games which are aligned with the common core standards, as well as 2 chairs and library resources to supplement student reading with high interest texts.
I believe in making learning enjoyable and peak student interest.
With these materials, I will have the power to do so. I will be able to supplement my lessons with interactive center time to reinforce the common core skills and grasp the attention of my young learners.
