My Project

My second grade class is a wonderful mix of gifted learners, and homeschoolers returning to the classroom after a year of online learning due to COVID.

My hands on driven class enjoys using any type of visual to make connections to the learning.

Daily supplies like expo markers, dry erase clip boards, and multi colored pens will be used during small group as well as whole group instruction. Allowing my learners to interact with the lessons and each other has helped to close some gabs due to COVID.

The Active Chairs will be directly used to allow my wigglers time to wiggle. We try to use movement in our lessons, along with student interest. Making my lessons connect to my learners personally gives a great opportunity to share personal interest, and celebrations. Celebrating with All About Me Posters, and birthday cards and themed books studies will allow my learners to make new friendships with classmates and me.
