My students love technology and would be able to communicate and access curriculum through these tablets.
I have a group of kindergarten and first grade students.
These students have disabilities such as autism and other intellectual disabilities. I work in a low income school, and these students are not able to afford tablets and love using technology. The curriculum in online and can benefit from a tablet to have their work on and be able to touch the screen to make choices. Alot of these students are non-verbal and communicate by using gestures and pictures. .
My Project
The students will use the the tablets too access their curriculum as well as communicate with others. The students can use the apps to learn their numbers, shapes, colors ect. This group of students love technology and this will make learning fun for them.
By having these tablets the students will have another way to learn that interests them and makes learning fun.
The students will be able to interact with each other and work together to access their curriculum.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
