This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My 92 bright and eager third grade mathematicians need a few things and I told them y'all might be able to help. This our first year to be in departmentalized classrooms and I was very fortunate to get to be their math teacher. My wish is to bring them hands-on tools to make math relevant to their lives.

We are a Title 1 school bringing together a vibrant international community and math is a universal language.

Students will enjoy using the Rii Wired Mice (wireless didn't work/bad idea) with their Chromebooks. Fluency building games will be much easier with them. The Multiplication Tower game and Real-World Math Unexpected Events game will be fun amd engaging for Math Tutoring Club in our classroom. I've been looking for math-related books for our Friday read-aloud, and the Magna Math Mysteries will no doubt be a popular selection.

I'm looking forward to seeing their smiles when they realize someone really cares about their futures. Than you for looking, sharing and caring.
