Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting these items to help expand my classroom library that allows 4 and 5 year old's to better understand the concepts of print. Most of the books I have in my room are outdated, or ripped and it would be nice to give them a fresh set of books that they are able to engage with and to better understand themselves and the world around them.

Handwriting practice is also a big part of our learning environment in transitional kindergarten, being able to provide all of the fine motor tools that are available for them to grasp the concept of handwriting would be a huge help as it does help tremendously when they go into Kindergarten.

I would also like to enhance my science area for my students for them to be able to have tangible items to understand magnets, nature, and STEM associated lessons.
