My Students
My students need a Chromebook to utilize technology more in the classroom.
I teach at a high achieving school.
My classroom consists of gifted and high achieving learners. My school is trying to become a school-wide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) school but it is very difficult to implement technology with limited access. The students are more eager to learn and excited about learning when they can use technology versus worksheet activities.
My Project
My students use technology on a regular basis. They use Google Drive and Google Classroom on a regular basis. They use technology to do class research, discussions, writings, and much more. The use of technology in our classroom is currently limited as we have to share the school Chromebooks with other classes and grade levels.
My goal is for every child to have a Chromebook to use on a daily basis.
This will definitely improve their learning and change their life as the use of technology continues to increase daily. Every child having a Chromebook will also allow my classroom to eventually be a paperless classroom.
