Mrs. Luddy's K Classroom Project

Help me give my students a hands-on learning experience that will keep my students engaged during math and reading centers. My cart is full of multiple hands-on games that my students will enjoy and keep them motivated.

My Project

My name is Stephanie Luddy, and I'm a Kindergarten teacher in Brockton, MA. My school district is struggling financially and provides teachers with limited resources. I work in a low income community, and try to provide my students with all the necessities such as pencils, folders, crayons, markers, etc., without having to burden my students families.

The resources that I'm hoping to add to my classroom would make such an impact on each of my students, for each student learns differently.

Each learning game incorporates something for everyone such as fine motor skills, number sense, and phonics. The classroom games that I have now are either missing pieces or have aged, and they don't excite my students.

Not only will these hands-on games provide excitement for my students, it will also help with classroom management. If my students are engaged and their hands are busy, I will be able to work in small groups with minimum interruption.
