Help me give my students materials that will allow them to facilitate familiar much loved children's stories through the use of felt and song mitts, and learn cooperative skills through the use of board games.

My Students
My group consists of 12 (eventually 17) bright-eyed and bushy-tailed preschoolers. I currently have students that have dilapidated or unsatisfactory housing, are homeless, have severe trauma backgrounds, and developmental delays. These children come from diverse households that include single parent, divorced, LGBT, foster, and multigenerational families. To receive an education at my center, the family must fall below the federal poverty guidelines.
My goal is to always provide fun, engaging, and interesting materials that will foster a love of learning.
My students love to play dress up, retell stories, and play games with teaching staff and peers. I love giving them an education that will motivate them for years to come!
My Project
We currently are doing Game Day Wednesdays. These selected board games will allow my students more options when rotating games each week. These will provide work on cooperation skills, problem solving, and turn taking/sharing.
Your donation will provide my students with the gift of storytelling props sure to provide hours of fun while building crucial literacy skills.
The children will be able to work together in pairs. With one child using the story book and the other placing the felt story pieces on the flannel board. These materials will be a prized addition to our current set.
