My Project

Thank you for considering my project! My amazing students could use some snacks to keep them learning. They are always hungry, and that prevents them from fully focusing on their lessons.

Any teacher can tell you that a noisy pencil sharpener interrupting the class is such a constant disruption.

However, we do need to be able to sharpen pencils. We need pencil sharpeners that don't disrupt the learning of others. My school is over 90% living in poverty, so healthy snacks are important to keep them going each day. These kids are smart and hard-working, but they are coming from behind when it comes to having any advantages.

It's my goal to provide a healthy snack for every child every day that they need one for the rest of the year.
