My students need an iPad Pro. This will help me as a teacher to create fun and engaging lessons to use with the Promethean Board that is already in our classroom.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Easley's classroom raised $930

My Students
I have a classroom full of 21 eager-to-learn first graders, and they are the most amazing group of kids. They come to school excited about the day and ready to work hard and learn a lot. They have a variety of different interests and all love technology.
My classroom is also full of students whose families speak only Spanish at home.
My school is a high poverty school in Memphis, TN. Our school is a very large school, but, even though it is large, the students still feel that it is their home, and they are welcomed there. We want it to be an effective learning environment and want these students to have every opportunity available to them.
My Project
Having an iPad Pro in our classroom would allow me to create fun and engaging lessons to use with the Promethean Board in our classroom. There are also so many educational apps that students would have access to with an iPad.
This year, many of my classroom computers were too old to function in the classroom so they had to be taken out of the classroom.
Having an iPad would add another device that students could use with intervention programs, and it would also help with our listening to reading center. An iPad would also be a great tool to use in small group learning experiences. It would open the world up to so many different ways to engage in a lesson.
