My Project

My students are resilient, kind and loving and deserve the best!

In kindergarten, we spend a lot of time learning together at the carpet.

My students utilize the carpet to learn ELA, writing and math before breaking out into small groups and center time. We currently have a rug that does not allow for appropriate space and can be very crowded at times for students who need to move about more than others.

My hope for this rug is for each of my students to have their own personal space to not only sit, but to move around if they need to without getting into someone else's space. This rug would also be big enough for each of my students to have that needed space and for the students who need behavioral support to have enough space for them to sit comfortably.
