This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom is BUSY! We are always learning and I try to enrich my curriculum as best as I can with Center Time and Differentiated Instruction. We move around the room from the carpet, to our chairs, and even outside to keep our classroom environment interesting!

My students are all around five years old.

They are very curious learners. They are always asking questions and are excited to learn anything new. My school is wonderful. The parents are very kind and supportive. However, the technology in this school is behind compared to other schools. In this day and age where technology is so prevalent, I wish there was more the students could accomplish through technological advances in my classroom.

My Project

My students will learn how to read with these requested iPads. They will learn other mathematical skills that are needed to progress developmentally as they gather on the classroom carpet I am requesting. They can practice their sight words, read emergent literacy books, and watch educational videos that will assist them in their classroom learning. There are amazing apps and websites that children can use to enrich their learning. I think my students will be so excited to use them! I will use them during my Center Time, and I know it will be their favorite center! I think these items will allow me to challenge my curious learners and encourage my learners without as much motivation as others!

This donation will improve my classroom tremendously!

My students will be able to use new technology in my care that they might not receive outside of the classroom. I hope that using these iPads daily in Center Time and Enrichment/Intervention time will get my children more excited about learning. This donation will motivate even the most unmotivated learner. It will encourage them and make their day fulfilling when they come to school. I know that using these iPads will improve my curriculum!
