My Project

Hello!

My name is Ms. B, and I’m a new 5th grade English Language Arts teacher getting ready to welcome a wonderful group of around 45 students.

As I prepare our classroom, one of my biggest goals is to create a vibrant, engaging library and cozy reading area where students can discover the joy of reading every single day.

Reading is the heart of our ELA curriculum, and having access to a diverse selection of books—across genres, cultures, and reading levels—will help every child find stories that inspire them, reflect their experiences, and challenge them to grow. A comfortable, inviting reading space will also give them a quiet corner to explore these books in a way that feels personal and safe.

As a first-year teacher, I’m building this classroom from the ground up, and I would be incredibly grateful for your support. Your donation—big or small—will go directly toward purchasing high-interest books, flexible seating, book bins, shelves, and other tools to make our library a space students are excited to use.
