My Students

My students live in an urban setting and attend their neighborhood schools. Which started offering the students the opportunity to attend a free Public Montessori School offering parents education utilizing Maria Montessori Educational Theory.

The students are multi-ages and use the key principles to learning development, which foster Independence, Observation, Following the Child, Prepared Environment, and Absorbent Mind.

My students will learn English Language Arts, Mathematics, Botany, Geography, History, and more with the materials donated.

My Project

My Montessori Students are working on mastering number operations and c-v-c words. While we have some Montessori Material in our classroom, the students have been introduced to various skills and additional materials will allow my Montessori Students additional practice with the skills they have learned. The new materials will encourage the students to continue to practice the skills taught. Students will be engaged and continue to learn and practice their skills while using the new materials. Additionally, these math games and activities will help my students develop cooperative social skills.
