This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These past couple of years have been difficult for students in many ways. The impact of the coronavirus has affected students' learning and social and emotional well being. These books will be a welcomed addition to our classroom library.
The different characters and adventures the students will read about will allow students to make connections, relate to the characters in the stories and will increase their enjoyment of reading. The students will be able to choose books that they are interested in at their reading level. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
