Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
First, I want to say how much I love teaching, and the students are just spectacular! I would love to help refresh our classroom for 2025. I have noticed some of our supplies running thin. One of the first things I saw that we are in desperate need of is headphones. My students use these every single day, and many need to be replaced because usage throughout the year. We also use pencils, paper, and composition books for ELA, writing, spelling, math, science, and social studies each and everyday. I would love to keep that on hand for my classroom throughout the rest of the school year. I know on our school supply list that we had 3-pronged folders, but I really think binders will work better for organization. The students have password sheets, spelling lists, multiplication charts, and so much more that they need to have a place for in their desks. I am also requesting a class set of scissors, markers, and colored pencils for our special projects that we work on throughout the year. One of those being a published book, and my Reading Rainbow Project which helps the students really get interested in reading. This also brings art into the mix with reading. Anything that you could help provide would be so appreciated by my students this year.
