Mr. Shirar's Library Part 1

Help me give my students a diverse library. We have Scholastic Buddy Readers here to ensure that students of all different kinds of reading levels will have their needs met in our classroom library!

My Project

This will be my first-year teaching! It is extremely important to me that my students are able to access a wide variety of books like... to grow their thirst for knowledge and love for reading.

Reading is the gateway to another world for students, please help them access it.

I plan to have my students utilize their library to its fullest potential so that they can enjoy the wonder of reading. Independently and collaboratively, I want them to see that reading is more than just a life skill.

We have some little leveled readers to guide beginning readers and Junie B. Jones books here to start out with.

One of my favorite quotes is: "A good story can change a life." And that is what I intend to do with my library.
