Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Items will help students to have a better understanding of math and science. Many of the materials are essential to learning.
For example, the playing cards and dice help with probabilities and percentages.
In addition they support proportional logic, so that students can understand the chances of landing on a certain number for their dice, or the probability of getting a certain card.
Students learn a lot from hands on, aluminum foil and saran wrap allow students to interact with small labs and projects which use various materials to demonstrate their knowledge of scientific concepts.
