My Project
Our students work so hard and with these new materials, it will give them that much more motivation. With hard work comes the need for much needed brain breaks and rejuvenation. Some of the items we will use to incorporate games while also completing academics. For example, the whiteboards and tetherballs will be used for outdoor learning. Our middle school students also seem to have issues keeping pencils and bringing them to class. We will be loaded up on pencils so there are zero excuses!
One of my favorite things to do with modeling clay is for students to partner up where one student sculpts an object(s) and the other student has to describe it using a 3 to 5 sentence paragraph.
Team writing is motivating and helps open multilevel access points for all abilities of students.
