My Project

My name is Mr. Marrero and I am a second grade teacher at Renaissance Charter School located in South Florida.

I have a classroom of 18 amazing students whom I love dearly.

Every day, I allow snack time for my students however, not everyone always has a snack or have all the supplies they can use in class. Therefore, I’ve been taking the initiative to purchase snacks and supplies for anyone who don’t have anything. When I heard of this program, I immediately signed up. It would be a blessing to my students and I to be selected ! My students are the best and as teacher I never want to see a child hungry or feel left behind because they don’t have all the supplies as other students. They are very deserving to be chosen.
