My Students
I teach on the west side of Chicago, where a lot of my students have not had the positive life learning experiences that all students should experience, in order to help them grow as life long learners. All of my students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and a large majority of my students are raised by either a single parent or by their grandparents. Despite all of these obstacles, my students want to succeed and they support that you can give to them will be greatly appreciated.
My Project
Your donation will help fund my students’ ability to visit and experience new and exciting places and cultures all around the world through the use of virtual reality. As a result of the pandemic, my students have not been able to go on field trips as we normally would to experience things outside of the classroom. This will allow them to not only go on trips but will also allow them to visit places and experience new things that they never would have by going on normal field trips in Chicago.
