This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Over the past year, my art supplies have gone through the wringer, as typical of a middle school classroom. Thus, my supply closet is in sore need of refreshing. In addition, I will be introducing brand new projects to my classes to broaden their scope of exactly what art can be. Some of these include yarn paintings inspired by the Huichol people and designing their very own logos.
With your help, I will not have to worry about having enough supplies for students to use and can instead focus on helping them realize their creative goals!
