This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach English to 6th graders in Las Vegas. Many of the 100+ students I teach are English language learners living in a low-income area. Regardless of the challenges they may face outside of school, they show up every day with smiles on their faces and an eagerness to learn in their hearts.

My students place great value on education and work hard to get the most out of school, both educationally and socially.

My students put in a lot of hard work and practice learning the English language and developing a love of reading!

My Project

I want to start the year off by ensuring my classroom has the supplies needed to stay clean and sanitized all year long. These basic supplies including sanitizer and wipes will ensure students can keep their hands and desks clean!

All students deserve a safe and sanitized learning environment.

Having multiple classes rotate into your room throughout the day makes it more difficult to keep clean. Starting the year with these supplies will make students feel safer and more comfortable. Without the stress of wondering if their space is clean, they can focus on their education.
