Mr Halls NC Wildlife Students Are Reel Rock Stars

Help me give my students Fishing rods and reels as well as tackle to provide an opportunity to explore wildlife in our area by fishing in a local pond.

My Project

Our school is one of the most diverse schools in Gaston County. Our county also is one of the largest school systems in our state. We are considered a Title 1 school. Although most of our students are gifted artistically and athletically, most do not have the resources to obtain any kind of extra educational materials. With the ability to purchase the fishing equipment requested, we will be able to utilize the surrounding properties to enhance the Wildlife Classes that are being developed and offered.

Our main goal is to be able to identify local species in our region and will also be able to understand the laws of nature that allow them access to viable food sources.
