Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials selected are necessary to support student learning in the classroom. Students require access to materials such as pens and pencils to be successful. My students are from disadvantaged backgrounds and obtaining classroom materials can be difficult. The resources selected will give my students the chance to be creative and intertwine their creative side. My students will often come to class and tell me that they don’t like science, they don’t see themselves in it. They don’t get to express themselves and instead are forced to learn and memorize facts. These materiasl will change that.
