it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My English language learners and I started a YouTube channel last year, initially to support students who missed school due to medical issues. Let's be honest—I taught English, but my students really took the lead in creating our channel. They filmed episodes on their phones, edited the content, and uploaded the videos. Since launching the channel, my students have truly taken ownership of our classroom, and their grades have improved by at least one letter grade across the board!
We want to continue producing digital content but would like to make our videos more professional.
To achieve this, we aim to upgrade our cellphone camera to a GoPro camera kit. Please consider donating to our classroom and help make a real difference in our students’ lives. Thank you!
