Hello world,
I am a teacher in a public school in Oakland, CA.
I am delighted to be a classroom teacher - in my 7th year of teaching. The joy that this profession gives me is unparalleled. The joy of knowing that my students apply the strategies they have been learning in school is what keeps me going. Truly, being a teacher is a privilege.
Post-it Super Sticky Easel Pads will be used for everyday chart making. We use them for creating poster resources. The composition notebooks are for journaling, to better students' writing and note taking techniques. The Pen Pals are for students to store their writing materials on their desks. Fidget toys will be prizes to motivate students and add joy in our classroom, as well as for students who have known need for fidgets. Pencil pouches will allow us to store personal school supplies for each student. Dry erase markers will be used with their personal whiteboards. An electric pencil sharpener is for the classroom for sharpening pencils. Dry erase pockets are to used as white boards and for bulletin boards to showcase student work. Plastic envelopes will store homework packets and parent correspondence. We'll put our new rug in the calming corner.
This is the reason why I keep going. I am so hopeful for the next generation! I want to be a part of that. I want to spread hope and opportunity. Without your help, I would not be able to do that.
