Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for MP3 players to help my monolingual students in our classroom. There are also some Spanish books that we would like to upload to help these students feel inculuded in our reading time.
Being able to listen to the story that we are reading more than one time will help with their understanding.
It is important that the students that come to us get a chance to hear the story we are reading in their native language and also in English. We are hoping to have some of our teachers read the curriculum reader in Spanish and then uploading them onto the MP3 players for our new comers and monolingual students.
