Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This year our school went from one 3K class to four making the moving up celebration expenses quadruple. Our theme for our 3K moving up ceremony this year is Pete the Cat.
We would love to be able to give each of our 60 3K kiddos a copy of Pete the Cat in My School Shoes as a moving up ceremony gift to remember their first school experience!
I have also added teacher copies with characters to this project so we can read the story with the children in class leading up to the moving up ceremony so that when they receive their own copy they will be able to retell the story to their families over the summer.
