This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My typical day in the classroom is to get my students started off with a "Strong Start." By the end of the year I want my students to have been exposed to a digital classroom. Students will be motivated through this project. "You affect the world by what you browse." Tim Berners-Lee

My students are from the inner-city.

They like being actively engaged in school. This project will be something that will motivate them, as they set goals to be successful. Many of my students have expressed an interest in going to college in the future. My students are highly motivated through technological literacy. They love completing their Fast Math,and projects for other subjects through technology. Technology will also prepare my students for online testing such as PARCC, and MAP testing. My school is in an urban location, and this project will enhance the learning of my students, and it will allow the school to get materials such as these chrome books that are not in our budget for us to get.

My Project

If my students receive these materials that I am requesting their learning will be more student-led. Students will learn how to navigate websites that are related to math, literacy, science, and social studies. Students will also be able to collaborate with their peers. Students will learn how to create more rigorous projects through research, and they will be exposed to a digital classroom.

A project such as Chromebooks will improve my classroom, because my students will be actively engaged by using digital literacy.

They will be exposed to goggle apps, learn how to navigate around different websites. This project will change students lives because they will be introduced to technological literacy, and many of our students don't have technology at home.
