Moving to Kindergarten!

Help me give my students as many manipulatives and learning tools as I can to ensure their kinder year is successful.

My Project

I will be moving to kindergarten after years of teaching other grades. I have been studying all summer, learning more about the science of reading and what works best for early readers.

Many of these items will be used to help my students strengthen their foundational reading skills.

We will be focusing on phonemic awareness and phonics. In addition to literacy supplies, I have asked for flexible seating options for my students. This will give them the opportunity to move around the room and learn in a way that works best for them.
