Help me give my students some more engaging activities for their outdoor time, such as the Woodland Climber and activity walls will provide them with the opportunity to interact in multiple ways.
My class is very active, and I love it. My group of boys love to run, climb and jump. They really enjoy playing on the big kid playground in the mornings for our first outdoor session, and I can see the difference it makes in regulating their bodies when we come inside, and they need to sit for Circle Time. Our second outdoor time however is in a smaller enclosed space. Although there are tricycles and a couple of cozy coupe cars to drive around, they prefer to run and climb.

I teach a separate setting Pre-K class for students with special needs. Most of my kids are on the Autism Spectrum and therefore require a lot of physical input in order to thrive in a classroom setting. Getting the sensory input that their little bodies need helps them regulate and help them be better able to learn.
I've seen how having the proper equipment to meet their sensory needs can make a difference in their learning and ability to attend and focus. Having these options for our outdoor activity time will help us grow even more!
